The 10-Minute Technique: How to Turn a Recalcitrant Child into an Obedient One

Some children often show obstinacy.

They disobey their parents and refuse to fulfill their requests.

This happens for various reasons. But in almost any case, moms and dads can use one interesting psychological technique.

It is enough to say one phrase - and the baby will most likely perform the necessary action.

The essence of the "10 minutes" technique

If a child refuses to do something, tell him the following: "Try doing it for 10 minutes. And if you don't like it or get bored, you can stop."

The child will happily make this compromise and start doing homework (or tidying up the room, reading a book, doing exercises, etc.)

The most interesting thing is that after 10 minutes the boy or girl may well continue to perform this or that action.

The thing is that this time is often enough to get "drawn in" to the work and even start enjoying it. Procrastination is "switched off".

Earlier, parents were told about the rules of upbringing that help raise a smart child.
