Parents experience negative emotions when their child refuses to comply with their requests.
When in a state of anger, rage or confusion, mothers and fathers often make mistakes.
Very often parents say the following phrase: “How many times do I have to tell you?!”
This rhetorical question is very stupid. It is better never to ask your son or daughter.
The main problem is that the phrase “How many times do I have to tell you?!” is absolutely useless from an educational point of view.
Having heard it, the child will not want to immediately start obeying his parents and fulfilling their requests.
On the contrary, a stupid rhetorical question will only irritate the child.
After all, the phrase is more of a reproach from a mother and father to their son or daughter.
At best, the student will simply ignore the parents' complaint. At worst, he will give some witty answer that will make the adults feel awkward.
But a very small and naive child, hearing the question “How many times can I repeat it to you?!” may take it seriously and be surprised by the “stupidity” of his parents.
