Self-confidence is an important skill for everyone, including children.
If a child is not confident in himself, he is unlikely to become happy.
Parents should never allow their child to feel “wrong” and untalented.
As soon as mom and dad notice that their child has low self-esteem, they need to resort to one trick.
You need to make a "piggy bank of flattering reviews". It can be a regular box in which you put pieces of paper with facts of praise for the child.
Did your child win a school Olympiad? Tell him "well done", write the word on a piece of paper and put it in the box.
Be sure to indicate what exactly you are praising your child for.
You need to send absolutely all positive statements from mom and dad about the baby to the “piggy bank”.
Has your child said, "I can't do anything" or "I have no talents"? Immediately show him the box, saying, "You have many talents! Look how many achievements you have! See how often we praised you?"
Such “documentary evidence” of success will immediately increase the child’s self-esteem.
