Traditionally, at the age of 7, every parent sends their child to an educational institution. The stage of preparation for school is determined only by the ability to read, write and count.
Many people think that these three actions are enough for a child under 7 years old, but they are wrong.
Parents dream of a kind and obedient child who takes responsibility for his own actions.
But for some reason they forget that they themselves must teach them this. After all, all these characteristics do not appear out of nowhere.
The earlier parents begin to educate their child, instilling in him a love for nature or respect for people, the more adapted he is to socialization at school.
1. Everyone makes mistakes.
A child needs to understand that even adults can make mistakes, and there is no need to be afraid of it. Throughout their lives, people have made mistakes, are making mistakes, and will make mistakes.
If a child has made a mistake, it is necessary to talk about what happened, understand the child's motives, what went wrong and when, find a way to fix what happened. A parent can reproach, but yelling at a child or hitting him is not allowed.
2. People have equal rights.
All people deserve to be treated with respect, no matter what color their hair is, their character, their social status, etc.
If this is not discussed in childhood, the child may begin to bully others at school and even in adulthood.
3. You must be able to say "no".
It is necessary to teach refusal from childhood. Refusal is an indicator of a conscious decision.
If a child does not know how to say "no", then his peers may start to use him, and he himself will grow up soft and helpful.
4. Nature should be respected.
People are obliged to take care of nature and preserve its diversity. A child from an early age is able to understand that throwing garbage on the street is not the norm. To do this, it is necessary to develop ecological thinking in the child.
5. Caring for others is important.
This skill will teach them to be friends with other children, help those in need, and develop a love for society.
6. Ability to defend an opinion.
Every person has the right to have and express their own opinion. Children should be taught to justify their choice, but without using aggressive methods.
7. You have to trust your parents.
If the child does not trust the words of parents, then educational methods will not give the desired results. You need to be sincere with the child, and he will be the same in response.
Adults should not be children's friends, but they should become those comrades whom children will look up to and rely on in their decisions.
It is important to understand that if a parent wants something from a child, then he or she must live up to it.
