" Vechernyaya Moskva " asked nutritionist Olga Redina what a New Year's table should be like that will not harm your health.

First of all, the doctor recommended giving up alcohol. You can give preference to fruit drinks, herbal teas, water. If you want to drink a glass of something, then red wine is acceptable, but you need to wash it down with a sufficient amount of clean water.

You shouldn't drink coffee in the evening. The drink will only increase your blood pressure.

As for salads and appetizers, it is advisable to avoid those that contain mayonnaise. You should not choose heavy dishes, for example, Olivier or herring under a fur coat.

In addition, you should avoid sausages, sprats, and fatty fish.

Preference should be given to vegetables, lightly salted red fish, caviar, cod liver. If you want to add bread to your diet, you should choose whole grain or bran.

Redina recommended avoiding dishes that contain a lot of salt and spices.

During the holiday, it is better to choose dietary meat (turkey, chicken). Vegetables that can be boiled or baked for the feast are suitable as a side dish.
