Many nutritionists speak very highly of fruits – they are very useful for the body, as they contain a large number of vitamins.
But other nutritionists and doctors are confident that it is important to observe moderation in the consumption of such products.
It turns out that the problem is that some fruits contain too much fructose.
And this can be quite harmful to health.
Why you shouldn't overindulge in fruits
There are three reasons.
- Increased amount of fructose. It turns out that excessive consumption increases blood cholesterol levels and promotes the formation of visceral fat.
- Metabolic disorders. Fruits with high fructose content increase the risk of developing diabetes. Overripe fruits contain especially much sugar.
- Fermentation in the body. Fruits can cause fermentation and allergic reactions. Be careful with kiwi, pineapple, mangosteen, banana and mango.
