There is a myth that you can’t add sugar to tea and coffee, otherwise it will lead to serious health problems, and in extreme cases – to premature death.

Dutch experts have proven that this is not the case.

Data from 32 years of observation of several thousand patients with different habits were analyzed.

As a result, it became known that adding sugar in reasonable limits does not pose a danger.

But, as scientists noted, the additional product will not cause harm if it is in limited quantities.

The permissible limit is up to 5 grams.

If the amount of bulk component is increased, there is a risk of problems arising.

They reminded that the soda that many people love contains about 25 grams of sugar, and this has an extremely negative effect on the body.
