A modern method of diagnosing skin lesions that allows you to see the invisible is called dermatoscopy. A digital device records the skin lesion and displays the image on a screen where all skin structures are visible.

This method was invented in order to increase the likelihood of detecting dangerous elements on the skin.

Oncologist Alexander Degtyarev said that dermatoscopy reveals structures that are invisible to the eye. Thanks to this, melanoma detected in time allows for its radical surgical removal and the patient to be simply kept under observation.

It is this type of diagnosis that will help to understand which method of removing the formation is acceptable.

Most skin lesions can be removed with a laser and, as after surgery, sent for histological examination.

Whether a scar will remain after laser removal depends on the affected area and its location. If the element is large, there is a risk of scarring.

The pain during the procedure is minimal and is perceived as a mosquito bite due to the injection of anesthetic.
