Menopause itself is the last menstruation in a woman's life. It is important to understand that this is not a horror or a farewell to youth. Climacteric symptoms can appear even during menstruation and at a young age.

Women are afraid that when the body stops producing a menstrual cycle, they will gain weight, their hair will start to fall out, and their skin will be completely different from what it was before.

Gynecologist Maria Afanasyeva says that many young girls are now in a condition similar to menopause. Depending on age, this condition can be called premature ovarian failure, early menopause, or menopause.

If a woman is 45 years old and all the symptoms are "on the face", but menstruation is still there - this can be called menopause, but without menopause. These moments need to be separated.

Menopause is not scary! During menopause, women complain of hot flashes, poor sleep, and strong nervous excitability. Rapid mental and physical fatigue also indicates menopause.

At the same time, there is no need to panic and give up on women's health. These same symptoms can be due to iron deficiency. If the symptoms begin to progress, you should see a doctor.

This problem is especially relevant for young girls and women.
