Winter is the time when the number of tangerines eaten can be measured in centners, if not tons.

Even the increased prices do not stop lovers of this fruit, because tangerines are considered one of the main attributes of the New Year.

But today we suggest you talk not about tasty fruits, but about the peels, which after eating tangerines usually end up in the trash.

This happens in most houses, but not in all. The exception is apartments where experienced housewives live.

They will not allow themselves such wastefulness, because tangerine peel can be useful for household purposes.

To prepare a useful solution based on tangerine peels, you need to place them in a glass jar and fill it with 9% acetic acid.

If desired, you can dilute the vinegar with water - this will result in a less concentrated product with a more intense citrus aroma.

Then you should pour the mixture into a spray bottle and start cleaning.

Spray the solution onto the contaminated surfaces and then wipe them with a dry cloth.

So, using the most common tangerine peels, which many perceive as trash, you will get a practically free product that effectively removes even ingrained grease and soot stains, making it easier to prepare for the New Year.

You must admit, it’s hard to find a better way to save on cleaning before the holidays than this.

And if you have accumulated a lot of peels, and you don’t want to part with them, try storing them. To do this, you need to dry the peel and put it in a cloth bag.
