Ironing is an integral part of the daily life of many housewives, but for many this process often causes irritation and fatigue.
The good news is that there is a trick that can make ironing much easier and faster.
To bring it to life, you will need an ironing board, an iron and foil.
First of all, remove the ironing board cover, then cover it with foil. To prevent it from sliding on the surface, you can use tape.
Throw a thin sheet or a baby blanket on top – basically, any cotton fabric. At this point, the preparation can be considered complete.
By the way, if you don’t have an ironing board, you can cover any other surface suitable for ironing with foil, for example, a dining table.
What are all of the above manipulations needed for?
The answer is simple: while you iron the item on one side, the heat reflected from the foil smooths out the creases on the other side.
Of course, constant use of this method can be difficult - the consumption of foil is still not small, but if you have accumulated a large number of things to iron, then this method will be very useful.
For reference
Foil is a metallic “paper”, a thin (up to 0.2 mm thick) and flexible sheet made of aluminum, tin, copper, silver, gold and other metals and alloys.
