With the onset of the winter season, private home owners have a new responsibility – snow removal.
It’s hard to call this “procedure” easy, and the snow sticking to the cleaning tool only adds to the difficulty.
Fortunately, folk craftsmen found a way out of this situation.
To solve this problem, they recommend using non-stick cooking spray.
This product is designed to treat pans and baking sheets, but it has also proven itself to be excellent for clearing snow.
Thanks to its release form – in the form of an aerosol – it is convenient to apply it in an even layer to the surface of the instrument.
How to prepare a shovel
Before you process a snow shovel, you need to prepare it - clean and dry it.
Only after these manipulations can you apply non-stick spray. It is worth doing this on the entire working surface of the shovel.
Don't overdo it: a thin layer is enough to provide the desired effect.
Snow will not be able to stick to the lubricated surface, which means the cleaning process will go faster and will require less effort from you.
What are the advantages of the method?
If you think that the only purpose of non-stick spray is to prevent snow from sticking to it, you are wrong.
This product also protects the metal parts of the snow removal tool from rusting, thereby extending their service life.
Please note: the spray wears off over time, so it should be applied periodically.
