What to do if ants have appeared in the house: dichlorvos will not help

Due to the fact that ants' favorite place in the house is the kitchen (this is where they make their numerous paths), using chemicals to combat them is not the best option.

Who wants their food to come into contact with toxic fumes?

Instead, it is worth using folk methods - they solve the problem just as quickly and effectively.

If you have some boric acid lying around at home, consider the job done (if not, you'll need to buy it).

Mix 0.5 teaspoon of boric acid, 1 teaspoon of yeast and sugar syrup or jam. This mixture should be spread on cardboard and placed in places where ants appear most often.

If you can’t find boric acid, use ammonia or vinegar – these products are much more accessible.

It doesn’t matter what you choose, ammonia or acetic acid, you need to coat the surfaces in the kitchen or bathroom with the liquid.

As a result, the ants will not be able to navigate in space and will soon scatter in all directions.

You can also wipe the surfaces where the ants "walk" with lemon juice. To make the insects disappear completely, you should do this several times a day.

The aroma of garlic will also repel ants. If you rub a clove of garlic on surfaces in your home, the pests will soon start thinking about moving.

Insect poison is the familiar baking soda.

To make a deadly bait, mix it with something sweet, add water and leave it in places where ants gather.
