Unfortunately, even with thorough regular home cleaning, many people face the problem of dirty taps in the kitchen or bathroom.
It might seem like a small nuisance, but it spoils the whole look, creating the feeling of untidy premises.
You shouldn't immediately rush to buy expensive cleaning products, some of which, by the way, are not very effective.
Moreover, such household chemicals are unsafe for health.
You can restore your taps to their former shine with the most common and simple product that everyone definitely has.
The result will probably surprise many: the taps will shine brighter than diamonds. They will look brand new, as if they were bought a minute ago.
The product in question is toothpaste.
You will also need to use an old toothbrush (or a hard sponge) and a soft cloth (a microfiber cloth will do).
Apply toothpaste to the faucet and rub thoroughly with a toothbrush, especially in hard-to-reach areas.
We leave the whole thing like this for half an hour. Then we wash off the paste.
The final stage is to wipe our tap dry and polish it lightly.
The dazzling shine will delight you for a month, because the toothpaste will form a film that will protect the taps from water.
