It is impossible to do without a kettle today. It is indispensable in almost every home.
However, such a valuable device has a great vulnerability – it is susceptible to attacks by scale.
The latter is not limited to the fact that it worsens the appearance of the water heater.

It can make it taste very unpleasant, for example, in tea or coffee.
Let's wait a while with the store
There is no need to rush to spend money (and a lot of it) on expensive detergents and cleaning products.
Many of them, firstly, are harmful to health, and secondly, are ineffective in the fight against scale.
Experienced owners advise paying attention to the simple means that you most likely have.
Products that will quickly and reliably solve the problem.
Citric acid
One of these means is citric acid. You need to pour 25 grams of the substance into the kettle (per 1 liter of water).
Next, bring to a boil, wait for about half an hour, drain the mixture, fill the device with water, bring to a boil again and drain.
Vinegar
Vinegar is no less good, but low-quality plastic can cause damage. In addition, it has a strong smell.
Solution: 100 ml of the product per 1 liter of water, bring to a boil, let cool slightly.
Then drain and remove the remaining scale with a sponge. If necessary, repeat the procedure.
After such an “operation”, it is necessary to boil clean water twice to eliminate the strong smell.
Baking soda
Baking soda is effective when used with electric kettles.
Add a tablespoon of the product to 1 liter of boiling water.
Wait until the mixture cools down, then drain. If necessary, repeat the procedure.
Peel
Apple peels or carbonated drinks can also help as they contain acids that dissolve scale.
But in the latter case, you should be careful - there is a risk that the kettle may be damaged.
