Clean and shiny kitchenware is, without a doubt, the dream of any housewife.

But sometimes even the most expensive and high-quality detergents cannot cope with dirt.

What to do? Of course, don't get upset, but look for other methods of fighting dirt - for example, pay attention to the methods used by folk craftsmen.

Probably the most popular of them is the use of soda and vinegar, but there is another option - less known, but no less effective, which is based only on natural ingredients. You can find them in any home.

To clean dishes, you need to have lemon, salt and mustard on hand.

Thanks to lemon juice, dirt dissolves literally before your eyes, while salt and mustard act as abrasives.

Cleaning process

The citrus fruit should be cut into two pieces of approximately equal size.

Sprinkle a small amount of salt and mustard on one half, then wipe the surfaces that need cleaning with the resulting "lemon sponge."

After this, all that remains is to rinse the dishes with warm water.

Alternative methods

To remove grease from surfaces and make them shine, you can wipe them with a sponge with coffee grounds and then rinse with warm water.

If there is a need to clean metal surfaces (faucets, handles, etc.), apply a small amount of toothpaste to a soft cloth, rub the dirty areas, rinse with water and wipe dry.

For glass and plastic, it is customary to use a solution of ammonia and water, taken in a ratio of 1 to 10. After cleaning, the cleaning agent is washed off with clean water.
