Regular baking soda and hydrogen peroxide, which can be found in any kitchen, can restore the shine to sinks and faucets in a few minutes.

To do this, mix three tablespoons of soda with hydrogen peroxide in a small container until a thick paste forms. The resulting mass is distributed over problem areas, leaving for 7-10 minutes.

Dried-on stains can be easily removed with a stiff-bristled toothbrush or sponge.

After treatment, the surface is washed with warm water and wiped dry to prevent the appearance of new stains.

The method is safe for ceramics, enamel and stainless steel, but is not suitable for sensitive coatings such as gold plating.

For stubborn rust stains, lemon juice is effective.

It is applied to damaged areas, left for 15 minutes, and then washed off. The acid dissolves oxides without damaging the metal.

The main thing is to avoid abrasive materials when cleaning chrome parts to avoid leaving scratches.

Regularly removing water droplets after using plumbing fixtures will reduce the frequency of plaque formation.
