Frequent washing is not good for white items. Low-quality powders can make them turn grey, and chlorine bleach can ruin the material.

Wanting to tidy up before the New Year, housewives cannot help but notice yellowed curtains.

This is how experienced housewives wash tulle.

The first way

Fill a basin with water so that it completely covers the material, add one tablespoon of soda and the same amount of salt.

Stir and soak the tulle for four hours.

If the dirt is ingrained, you can soak the curtains for 12 hours.

Rinse in cool water and machine wash on a delicate cycle.

The second way

Dissolve 70 grams of citric acid in warm water and soak the curtains for an hour.

Then rinse in cool water and put in the washing machine.

The third way

Dissolve 2 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide in a small amount of water and soak the tulle for 30 minutes.

Rinse in cool water and wash on gentle cycle.

Curtains can only be washed in water at a temperature no higher than 30 degrees and at minimum speed.

Instead of powder, use liquid household chemicals.

With these tips, you can make your old tulle snow-white without any effort or chlorine bleach!
