Professional cleaners often encounter the problem of burns left on fabric by an iron.

Fortunately, they have a lot of methods in their arsenal that help get rid of “iron” marks.

If the burn is not too serious

In this case, you will need to apply hydrogen peroxide to the fabric and rinse it with water after a minute. After that, the product should be washed in the most ordinary way.

If the case is complicated

In such a situation, peroxide will also come in handy, which should be used to wet a piece of cloth and place it on the stain. If you have ammonia, you can add it to hydrogen peroxide.

Now you need to put a dry napkin on top of the wet one to create a kind of sandwich: the bottom layer is the thing with the burn, the middle layer is a rag with peroxide, and the top layer is a dry napkin.

Once everything is ready, iron the top napkin with an iron heated to medium temperature.

While ironing, watch the stain closely. Stop ironing the garment when the mark has completely disappeared. If the peroxide has evaporated, wet the fabric again.
