How to get rid of plaque on the bathtub: in 30 minutes it will peel off in layers

Limescale is a problem that every bathtub owner is familiar with.

Over time, mineral deposits accumulate on its surface, rendering standard household chemicals powerless.

You can, of course, resort to the help of aggressive cleaning agents or even hard brushes, but you yourself must understand that such a solution will simply “kill” your bathtub.

Instead, try this simple and safe method. Its "adherents" claim that it helps them remove even multi-layered deposits.

We are talking about a homemade composition based on wine vinegar and salt.

To make a homemade cleaning product, you need to take 200 ml of wine vinegar and 50 g of salt.

Pour the acid into a glass container, add the salt crystals and mix thoroughly.

To make the solution even more effective, microwave it for a few minutes until it reaches 70 degrees.

After this, you need to evenly distribute the composition over the surface of the bathtub using a soft cloth. Pay special attention to areas with the heaviest deposits.

Wait a little longer. After 20-30 minutes, go over the surface of the bathtub being cleaned again with a soft sponge or cloth, and finally rinse off the remaining product and dirt with clean water from the shower.

To avoid having to deal with such a nuisance in the future, wash the bathtub after each use, removing any soap and water residue.

To soften the water, install filters, and don’t be lazy about doing preventative cleaning of plumbing fixtures using mild products.
