How many owners have already lost many precious nerve cells, faced with the problem of rust in the bathtub.
The issue is especially relevant for apartments rented out for a long period of time.
The first thought when an opportunity arises is the need to buy expensive cleaning and washing products.

In fact, you don't need to do this. You can solve the problem without them, saving money. And why the extra health risk from chemicals?
Experts say that natural remedies, which are available to almost everyone, will give no less effect than expensive store-bought ones.
Where does rust come from?
Why does rust appear? Because of water accumulation in some locations of the plumbing or around the drain.
This happens when the water contains a lot of iron.
Due to this circumstance, it is recommended to clean the bathtub no more than once a week.
Only with this schedule can soap scum and potential rust formation be avoided.
But if it already exists, then the following tools will help you deal with it.
Soda
Pour a thick layer of soda onto the rusty area. Leave for 1 hour.
If the locations are too rusty, you can wet them with a small amount of water.
After the soda has had an effect, wipe the affected areas with a brush and finally get rid of the problem.
But what to do in case of heavy contamination? Mix baking soda with soda ash (equal proportions) and apply to the wet bath.
After half an hour, clean with a sponge previously soaked in vinegar.
Ammonia
You need to work with it wearing a protective mask, rubber gloves and with the window open.
Pour 100 mg of ammonia and 50 mg of peroxide into the jar. Stir. Moisten a dry napkin in the solution.
Apply the mixture to the rusty areas, wipe with a sponge after 15 minutes and rinse with water.
Vinegar
Mix 100 mg of wine vinegar with 2 tablespoons of salt.
Pour all this into a saucepan, put it on the fire, and heat it to 65 degrees.
Wet a sponge in the resulting mixture, use it to treat the rust-affected areas, and after 20 minutes, rinse with water.
Citric acid
Dissolve three tablespoons of this product in 0.5 liters of warm water.
The mixture should be applied to the rusty areas. Leave for half an hour, and then wash off.
