Some housewives consider liquid intended for washing windows to be a universal product, but, unfortunately, this is not the case.
Some items may be damaged during cleaning using such a product.
Laptop and TV screens
Window cleaner can indeed remove dust and fingerprints from your TV, smartphone, or computer screen, but the ammonia and alcohol in it can damage LCD displays and ruin the anti-glare coating.
To clean such items, use a microfiber cloth with a special screen cleaner.
Stainless steel
Again, due to the harsh ammonia present in window cleaner, cleaning your stove, sink, refrigerator, and other stainless steel items can result in corrosion.
The best solution for removing stains from stainless steel is a solution of dishwashing liquid and warm water.
Glass hobs
After using the window cleaner, the hob may become covered in streaks and stains. Unfortunately, it will not be possible to remove them.
Instead, try spraying the stove with 9% white vinegar and sprinkle a thin layer of baking soda. Then cover the cooktop with a cloth soaked in hot water. After 15 minutes, wipe the surface with a microfiber cloth.
