How not to heat a stove
Firstly, it is strictly forbidden to use flammable liquids to light the stove.
Secondly, you cannot fire the stove for a long time with the ash pit open, this leads to overheating of the stove.
Thirdly, you must not close the ash pit if the stove is not heated enough. This leads to the formation of condensation and soot.
Fourthly, do not add wood to the stove until the house reaches a comfortable temperature. This may cause cracks to appear in the stove.
Fifthly, you must not close the damper if the wood has not burned. This is fraught with carbon monoxide poisoning.
