What do they consist of?
Using baking soda with salt
These components have excellent cleaning potential and a pronounced disinfecting effect. Both qualities will be useful to us, because in most cases the unpleasant odor is associated with the activity of microorganisms.
First, you will need to wipe the board with a damp cloth. Then apply a mixture of soda and salt to the entire surface of the accessory.
Wait ten minutes, and then start going over the surface with a sponge. All that remains is to wash off the remaining cleaning agent.
Vinegar
This product is also ideal for working with a cutting board. Vinegar is ideal for washing and neutralizing unpleasant odors.
You will need to dilute water and vinegar in equal quantities, apply the mixture to the board and wait at least five minutes.
Then wipe with a cloth and rinse off the vinegar solution. If the smell is too persistent, there is no need to dilute the vinegar in water: use it in its pure form.
