Surely everyone has excellent quality belts made of genuine leather, which are difficult to use because they have become rough.
This can happen over time.
However, a leather product can always be softened if you choose the right technique.
What options should you consider first?
Vegetable oil
The advantage of this method is that you can use absolutely any oil - food or cosmetic. Even regular sunflower seed oil will do for this purpose.
However, the product must be used correctly.
First, the oil needs to be warmed up a little. A water bath will do the job perfectly. Then take a clean, lint-free material, soak it in a small amount of oil and start polishing the belt. Afterwards, the accessory should dry completely.
Alcohol
This is a very effective method that will come to the rescue in the most difficult situations. First, you need to take cotton wool and douse it with alcohol. You can also use vodka.
We begin processing the belt.
After a few minutes, take regular Vaseline and polish the belt with it. The accessory will look as good as if you just bought it.
