Snow-white plumbing requires regular cleaning and maintenance, but household chemicals do not protect against the appearance of plaque and rust on the toilet.
In some cases, folk ingenuity will help out, especially if you are allergic to household chemicals.
Experienced housewives told how to clean the toilet from red plaque and urinary calculus using improvised means.
Whiten the toilet
This method will require liquid laundry soap and starch.
Cover the surface of the toilet with soap, and then evenly distribute 1-2 tablespoons of starch over it.
Brush with a brush and leave the mixture for 15-20 minutes, then repeat the brushing again and rinse off the remaining product with water.
Starch will gently and effectively whiten the surface of plumbing fixtures and remove ingrained dirt.
From urinary stone
To remove plaque, you will need:
- mustard - 2 tbsp;
- citric acid - 2 tbsp;
- starch - 4 tbsp.
The ingredients need to be mixed together, add a little water, stir to get a homogeneous mixture, and apply this paste to the dirty surface.
Leave the product on for 30 minutes, brush and rinse with water.
From limescale
You will need 1 cup of baking soda, to which you need to add a little water to make a paste.
You need to add 3 tablespoons of 9% vinegar to it, mix and apply to the stained surface, leaving for 12 hours.
Then all that remains is to simply rinse with water.
