Have your wardrobe items faded in the sun and no longer look as bright as they used to?
No problem! If you perform one simple procedure, the chances of solving the problem will be very high.
Before washing, faded clothes need to be treated in a certain way.
We are talking about soaking the items in water to which three simple agents have been added.
What to soak faded clothes in
You need to pour plain water into a basin and add a mixture of the following components to the liquid: citric acid, table salt and starch.
The result will be a solution into which you should place the faded items.
The wardrobe items should be kept in this liquid for quite a long time: at least 12 hours.
After completing the procedure, the clothes must be rinsed and left to dry (but not in the sun!)
As soon as the items are no longer damp, they need to be placed in the washing machine drum.
The result of washing should be a serious update of the clothes: most likely, they will be as bright as they were when they were purchased.
