At first glance, there is nothing complicated in using a multicooker, but many housewives complain that due to the use of this device, the dishes they prepare turn out tasteless.

We suggest you look into the three most common reasons why you can’t get on familiar terms with technology.

Do not overload the bowl

Carefully examine the bowl of the device: you will find a mark here that indicates the maximum permissible liquid level. It must not be exceeded.

Do not forget that during the cooking of cereals or legumes, they increase significantly in volume, so when you cook porridge, do not fill the multicooker bowl more than half full.

Do not open the lid

In order not to disturb the temperature environment, it is recommended not to touch the multicooker bowl unnecessarily.

True, this recommendation does not apply to all modes: for example, in the “Frying” mode, the lid does not need to be closed at all, whereas during the cooking of pilaf or baking, it is not recommended to open it often.

Wash the silicone rubber seal

If you notice that your food is emitting a strange, uncharacteristic odor, the culprit may be an unwashed rubber seal.

It is needed for reliable sealing during cooking, as well as to prevent a sharp release of steam from the bowl, but for some reason it is not given due attention when washing the multicooker.
