Every day we go out into the street with our phones.
Considering that this summer (and possibly the next) is breaking temperature records, it is necessary to know how to use the gadget correctly to prevent it from overheating.
Don't leave your phone in the car
In a closed car, especially if it is exposed to direct sunlight, the temperature is even higher than outside. Such conditions can lead to the breakdown of the device.
Watch for warnings on the screen
Many smartphones have a feature that notifies you when they are about to (or already are) overheating by displaying a warning on the screen.
It's probably a good thing that the message doesn't disappear from the screen until the device's temperature returns to normal.
To cool down the gadget faster, take it to a cooler place, where the sun's rays do not fall. It is not recommended to hold the phone in your hands or put it on charge.
Buy a cooling case
Conventional cases, which are made of plastic or silicone, mostly trap the heat that the smartphone components generate when you use it.
In hot weather, it is better to remove such cases. If you are afraid that the gadget will be covered with scratches or may break, look for special cases with a cooling effect.
