1. Berries with stems, not overripe and moderately firm are left for storage.

4. Do not cover the container with berries with a lid.
5. It is best to buy and store berries in wooden trays or plastic containers with holes for ventilation.

How long does strawberry last?
In the refrigerator at a temperature no higher than 2 degrees Celsius, strawberries are stored for no more than a week, and at a temperature of +2 to +6, a maximum of 3 days.
In the freezer at -18 degrees, berries can be stored for up to a year. At -15 up to 6 months, and at -12 degrees Celsius up to 3 months. This applies to whole berries, crushed and pureed.
At room temperature, strawberries will last a day at best, or even 12 hours maximum.
