If you want your bouquet to retain its original appearance for longer, you should know where to place it.
Keep away from direct sunlight
Even if a flower in its natural environment is a light-loving plant, bright light will only harm cut flowers.
Where there is no draft
Drafts are harmful to plants, as air currents destroy the air cushion around the stomata on the leaves and cause active evaporation of moisture. As a result, flowers wither faster.
By the way, this requirement also applies to indoor plants.
Away from vegetables and fruits
The main danger is bananas, avocados, apples, apricots and melons. They are capable of releasing ethylene and thus accelerate the wilting and rotting of nearby plants.
In the cool
Cold slows down the decomposition process, which is why it is easy to conclude: flowers should be left in a cool place. For this reason, florists advise leaving flowers in the refrigerator for 6-8 hours or overnight before using them to decorate the interior.
