Paper towels

Don't rub the paper into the pile - instead, gently press it onto the carpet, replacing it with dry paper from time to time.
By the way, paper towels can be replaced with equally effective rags made of natural fabrics. Important: this action must be carried out on both sides of the carpet.
Household appliances
Household appliances such as a hair dryer or heater can also help you speed up the drying process of your carpet.
You can also use a dehumidifier – if you have one, of course. Such a device will dry the carpet in a few hours, but do not forget to air out the house afterwards.
Finally, some housewives in similar situations use a washing vacuum cleaner, however, although it will absorb excess water, it is not able to return the product to its original dryness.
