You can be confident that crystal products are dishwasher safe, and with rare exceptions, they are.
However, the exception can hardly be called rare if we are talking about four types of dishes.
Thin glasses or goblets
Strong water pressure can cause the fragile material from which thin glasses and goblets are made to crack or break.
Products with gilding
If the dishware is gilded, the detergent will first fade the pattern and then completely erase it. The same rule applies to items with a pattern applied to them.
Specimens made of colored crystal
Automatic washing of collectible glassware is fraught with the risk that colored crystal items will become cloudy or crack.
Items with fine details
Vases, glasses and other items with a large number of thin elements can become cracked even due to slight vibration or water pressure.
Earlier we explained why you should rub your toilet with bay leaf.
