The question of how to remove orange-brown rust stains from white clothes often worries housewives.

And this is not surprising: not only do such stains spoil the appearance of things, but they also destroy the fibers of the fabric.

Fortunately, there are many folk remedies that help fight iron oxide.

Today we will tell you about three of them – simple and effective, based on the use of such an accessible product as vinegar.

Vinegar essence

Pour 1 glass of water into an enamel bowl and add 2 tablespoons of 70% vinegar essence. Heat the mixture (but do not boil it) and keep the area with the stain in it for 5 minutes (longer is possible).

After this, the clothes must be rinsed in water with the addition of ammonia (2 tablespoons per 2 liters of water), and then washed.

Salt and vinegar

Make a paste by mixing salt and 9% vinegar, then apply it to the stain for 30 minutes. After half an hour, the item should be washed.

Vinegar and ammonia

A heated solution of 1 liter of water and 4 teaspoons of table vinegar must be mixed with a tablespoon of ammonia. Soak the clothes in it for 10 minutes, and when the specified time is up, wash them.
