It is strictly not recommended to clean the shower hose using household chemicals that contain acids or chlorine.
A great replacement would be a regular lemon – this citrus fruit can easily destroy plaque and restore shine to your plumbing fixtures without causing any harm.
Important note: unfortunately, lemon will not be able to remove old limescale, but as a product for weekly use it is perfect.
To clean your shower hose using a sour fruit, peel it and use the pulp to rub the hose.
After these manipulations, leave the plumbing alone for 10-15 minutes, and after the specified time, rinse with water.
Lemon juice can be replaced with citric acid.
In this case, you will need to dissolve 300 g of lemon juice in 1 liter of water and apply the resulting solution to the surfaces that need cleaning.
If possible, soak the hose and shower head in a cleaning agent for a couple of hours, then rinse it with water and wipe dry.
