It can be unsafe to vacuum sharp glass fragments – glass pieces can damage the appliance parts and make holes in the dust collector.

Fortunately, all of the above does not in any way apply to units equipped with a plastic container, but unfortunately, one cannot be 100% sure of the safety of this method.

Instead of standing there pondering over a broken cup, call on folk remedies for help.

One of them says: you can collect the fragments using bread crumbs.

To do this, you will need bread, the crumb of which should be slightly moistened with water and formed into a large ball.

This flexible and soft ball should be rolled on the floor in those places where fragments could have fallen.

Important: you must carry out all manipulations wearing strong gloves to avoid injury.

Everything, even small fragments, will eventually stick to the bread crumb. What is noteworthy: the method is suitable not only for linoleum and other smooth surfaces, but also for carpets with short pile.
