There are probably still people somewhere in the world who like to insert a blanket into a duvet cover. However, they are so few in number that they can rightfully be considered an “endangered species.”
Agree, most of us put off changing bed linen until the last minute.
So let's quickly get acquainted with the tricks that can ease this unpleasant process and keep our nerve cells intact.
The method in question is suitable for duvet covers with a slit at the bottom or side.
To put on your duvet cover quickly and easily, turn it inside out and lay it on your bed so that the opening is on the side away from you.
Place the blanket on top, making sure that the corners of the blanket line up exactly with the corners of the duvet cover. Slowly roll the blanket and duvet cover towards the side where the cutout is.
Now turn the duvet cover back to the front side. To do this, you need to put your hands through the hole and wrap the resulting "roll" with fabric, leaving the blanket.
Carefully unfold the blanket completely, shake it out – and you’re done! Although it may sound complicated in words, in practice it’s quite simple.
Important: Those whose duvet is too thick or whose duvet cover has a slit that is too small will have to look for another method.
