Some people, in order to save time, use hot water instead of cold water to prepare food.
This should never be done, experts warn.
Why you shouldn't cook with hot tap water
Firstly, hot water is technical, it is not intended for drinking or cooking.
Secondly, on the way to your tap, hot water – simply because it is hot – collects many more impurities from the walls of the water pipes than cold water.
And the older the pipes in the house, the more various impurities there are in the hot water.
Hot water can be used for drinking and cooking only in extreme cases, for example, if the cold water is turned off.
Earlier we talked about how to properly store soup in the refrigerator.
