There are two ways to clean a fur coat at home: using water and soap or dry cleaning.

To choose the right option, focus on the degree of contamination and the type of fur.

Cleaning fur with water and soap

Fill a bowl with warm water and add a small amount of mild soap or wool shampoo.

Lightly dampen the fur by gently wiping it with a damp sponge or soft cloth. After removing most of the dirt, rinse the fur in clean water and pat dry with a towel.

Leave the fur coat to dry at room temperature, placing it on a hanger or a flat surface.

Dry cleaning of fur

If the fur is not very dirty, you can dry clean it using a special powder for cleaning fur products or talc.

Distribute the product evenly over the entire fur and leave the coat like this for a while.

Then carefully remove the powder with a brush or vacuum cleaner. If necessary, repeat this process several times until the dirt is completely gone.

No matter which method you choose, after cleaning the fur, brush it with a special fur brush to make it shiny and well-groomed.

It is recommended to store the fur coat in a special cover, which will protect it from contact with other things and provide air access.

Earlier we talked about whether it is possible to add raw tap water to boiled water in a kettle and boil it again.
