Antistatic
For this you will need an antistatic agent for computer equipment.
This composition will gently clean the PVC profile - just rub the dirt with a napkin. If the tape has "stuck", soften it by keeping it under a napkin in an antistatic agent for about half an hour.
Vinegar
You can remove old masking tape from a plastic window using vinegar. To do this, soak a rag in vinegar, wipe the surface, wait 10 minutes and repeat the procedure.
Then you should wait another 10 minutes and try to remove the tape. To increase the effectiveness of the method, you can heat the vinegar in a water bath until it is warm.
Alcohol
Alcohol and alcohol-containing products are suitable for removing double-sided tape and fresh traces of glue from a plastic window. To do this, soak a cotton pad in alcohol and wipe the contaminated surface.
If the glue does not come off, leave a cotton pad soaked in alcohol for 10 minutes, covering it with cling film. As a result, the glue will soften and you will get rid of it without any problems.
