How to Iron Trousers with "Bubble" Knees: For Those Who Want to Look Sharp

Ironing trousers is not as difficult as it may seem at first glance.

Start from the inside, iron all the seams and lining. Then turn the trousers right side out and iron the top and waistband through a damp gauze.

For the next step, you will need to fold the pants so that the side and inside seams match up, and iron the inside legs first, then the outside.

Now you can make arrows by pressing the unfolded leg with an iron at the top and bottom and ironing the remaining part between these points.

Here's a useful life hack: to make the creases on your trousers last longer, you can draw lines on the inside with soap and iron them on the outside through gauze soaked in vinegar, while tapping the creases with a brush.

If you are faced with such a problem as shiny areas on your trousers, you can get rid of them by ironing them with a solution of water and vinegar splashed inside in a 1:2 ratio.

But if the trousers have stretched at the knees, you need to moisten the deformed areas, cover them with a piece of linen and iron the fabric until the “bubbles” disappear, lightly applying a hot iron to them.

Important: you should start pressing from the edges of the area, gradually moving towards the middle.

Earlier we explained why a piece of fabric is sewn onto the inside of clothing.
