A kitchen sponge is a product that has more than one purpose.
This kitchen "accessory" can be used not only for washing dishes - it can also be used to sweep up food scraps from the table and wipe up spilled drinks.
As a result, foam sponges turn into a real accumulation of bacteria.
To get rid of them, it is not enough to simply rinse the sponge with cold water.
That's why today we decided to tell you how you can disinfect a sponge so that you don't have to change it for a new one every day.
Two simple products that can be found in any kitchen with 100% probability will help with this – salt and vinegar.
The technique is very simple. You need to place the sponge in a small container and fill it with regular table salt.
Then pour table vinegar over the sponge and leave it in this solution for 15 minutes, after which turn the sponge over to the other side up.
All that remains is to thoroughly rinse the product under running water and you can use it again for everyday needs.
Earlier we talked about how you can save money on washing dishes.
