If water no longer flows quickly from the shower head, then it is time to clean it from limescale.
The main reason for clogging of the shower head is hard water, which contains a lot of calcium and magnesium.
These substances gradually accumulate on plastic and metal, forming a durable coating.
It is this plaque that prevents the water from flowing smoothly and under normal pressure.
How to Quickly Clean a Shower Head
Here are 6 ways.
- Vinegar. Just use an old toothbrush – apply vinegar to the shower head, wait 20 minutes and scrub off the dirt.
- Soaking in vinegar. Remove the shower head and soak it in vinegar. This method is used for stubborn stains.
- Cola. Cola contains citric, tartaric and phosphoric acid, which makes the drink a cleaning agent.
- Household chemicals. Dissolve Domestos in warm water in a ratio of 1:8 and apply to the watering can.
- Soda. Make a thick paste from soda and water and apply it to the watering can.
- Lemon and salt. Sprinkle salt on a lemon wedge and rub the watering can with it.
