It is recommended to wash your prescription glasses with soap and water or a soda solution once every two days or once a week (if the glasses are used only for reading or watching TV).
The soda solution creates a protective layer that prevents your glasses from fogging up when you come inside from outside.
Another worthy remedy is a solution of table vinegar, prepared by mixing it with an equal amount of water.
It cleans and disinfects glass well, although after using it, a characteristic smell remains for some time.
However, it is not recommended to use the products from the list below to wash glasses.
1. Any abrasive agents, including soda paste.
2. Aggressive agents such as undiluted vinegar, Domestos and dishwasher detergents.
3. It is also undesirable to use fabrics that lose lint, soluble toilet paper and cheap paper napkins, as they can clog the lenses and the joints with the frame.
Previously, we talked about how to remove scratches on polymer glasses.
