Many of us have problems with the amount of free time – it seems like there is never enough of it.
But psychologists believe that the problem is not always that you have to work or study a lot.
Sometimes we just waste time on things that don't really make us happy.
A good example is the social media and streaming services we check throughout the day. If you add up how much time we spend there, the truth is ugly.
How to use time correctly
Here are 5 tips.
- At least 5 minutes. Make a decision to do a certain task for at least 5 minutes a day.
- Eating a frog: Spend every morning or evening doing your most difficult task.
- From big to small. Break a big task into several small ones.
- Timer: Works great when you're doing a specific task - like setting aside 30 minutes to solve a problem.
- Priorities. Divide all tasks into urgent and non-urgent.
