Chlorine is not always effective as it is better suited for bleaching surfaces.

Let's take a look at two inexpensive products that can be used to clean a toilet or remove stains.

How to clean a toilet

It is enough to apply soda to the contaminated areas and wait for the product to take effect – in most cases it takes 15 minutes.

Next, pour vinegar on top of the soda. A reaction will begin, during which an acid will form, easily dealing with the most persistent stains.

Then all that remains is to simply wipe the toilet with a sponge and rinse it several times with clean water. Finally, you can finish cleaning with citric acid.
