A modern stretch ceiling consists of a flexible PVC film, which is stretched along the entire perimeter.
Despite the fact that it is relatively strong and durable, the material is not immune to stains.
It should be noted that the fabric for such a ceiling is treated with various impregnations against bacteria, static electricity, and so on.
It is also believed that ceiling cleaning is usually done once every six months, and in the kitchen – once every 3 months.
How to wash the ceiling correctly
Let us mention right away that a stretch ceiling can be vacuumed, but at low suction power and with a brush attachment with small bristles.
But it's better to use a sponge soaked in detergent - just wash away the dirt gently, in a circular motion. Make a multi-purpose solution of dishwashing liquid, soap, glass cleaner and washing powder.
After treatment with detergent, it is better to rinse the ceiling with clean water, which will help avoid the appearance of streaks and stains.
