Drying wet shoes is an important “skill” that everyone will have to master sooner or later.

Before you begin the process, you need to prepare your boots or shoes.

The first thing you need to do is remove the dirt. This rule works in all cases, except for suede shoes: since the material requires delicate handling, dirt should be removed from it after the shoes have dried.

After this, if possible, remove the insoles and laces to ensure improved air circulation.

To prevent the boots from becoming deformed during the drying process, it makes sense to place shoe trees inside.

By the way, it is not necessary to purchase special devices - you can make do with the foam pads that were sold with the pair, or stuff a crumpled newspaper inside.

After proper preparation, you can start drying. To do this, use a tumble dryer or an electric shoe dryer.

If none of the above is available, try using a cold air stream from a hair dryer or products that absorb moisture: rice, salt, soda, etc., when drying shoes.

Previously, we talked about what to do with shoes that are in the way under your feet in the hallway.
