Cleaning windows is a relatively simple task, but many of us face numerous difficulties when it comes to the window sill.
Plastic can start to turn yellow for various reasons – most often, it changes color due to dirt and dampness.
This material is easy to wipe off dust, but difficult to remove plaque.
As always, folk remedies come to the rescue, which sometimes prove more effective than household chemicals.
How to clean yellowness from a window sill
Here are some ways.
- Boric acid. Great for fighting fungus - just mix the acid and water in a 1:5 ratio.
- Baking soda. It can remove greasy stains from the window sill and simply make the plastic lighter.
- Hydrogen peroxide. A wonderful antiseptic and a wonderful helper in everyday life. Perfectly removes various stains.
- Dishwashing liquid. Removes most light stains.
