If you notice that the water from the tap in the kitchen or bathroom has begun to flow unevenly, the problem may lie in the sprayer installed on the plumbing fixture.
In this case, it is recommended to use a special key to unscrew the aerator from the mixer and clean it from dirt in the form of rust and limescale.
But you can also take the path of least resistance, that is, eliminate the problem by putting in much less effort.
To do this, you will need a cleaning agent that is beloved by many housewives for its effectiveness – citric acid.
Place a tablespoon of lemon juice in a plastic bag and add a small amount of water.
Now attach the bag to the tap, securing it securely with, for example, a rubber band - a stationery one or a hair band.
The plumbing should remain in this state for about 40-50 minutes, after which the bag can be removed and, after turning on the water for a while, the aerator can be washed.
Remember: Regular cleaning of the sprayer will help you keep it in good condition and thus extend the life of the faucet.
